Folio Dedication, title, “Avvertimento” and 14 map sheets. Original, highly ornate gold-tooled, red morocco binding in fine condition; original outline color on maps; some repaired worming and mends to centerfolds of maps, else excellent.

40 x 55 inches Entirely original color; restored area in lower center, roughly 2x 5 inches, relatively minor restoration upper and lower extremities, else fully intact; full modern conservation with paper expertly re-mounted on new linen; excellent of this kind; framed in archivally correct manner with U-V filtering plexi-glass.

Folio bound in 19th century marble paper over boards, some wear, with original calf back strip laid over spine; (6) ff., consisting of engraved title, Aviso al Lettore, 4 leaves of street indices, all engraved; plan of Rome on 12 double-page, numbered sheets, 5-28; leaves 29-32 index leaves; 33-34 contain single-folio reduction of the large plan; leaves 35-36 have Nolli’s reprinting of the 1551 plan by Leonardo Buffalino. Corner of one map sheet reinforced due to splitting, very slight loss; few scattered stains and mended edge splits, some sheets re-cornered, overall very good.
